A New Arrival from British Airways Flexible Groups Travel

Following feedback from the travel trade,British Airways has launched new Groups Terms & Conditions to offer more flexibility.

Premium Travel

Upgrading your Group bookings with British Airways is now an easier option. There are no limits to the number of pax permitted to upgrade within a booking (subject to availability), whereas previously it was limited to 50% of the group. World Traveller Plus, Club World and Club Europe cabin minimum groups size has been reduced to 7 pax. First cabin minimum group size has been reduced to 4 pax.

Group Reduction

If you need to reduce the size of your Group after you have paid deposits, up to 20% of the Group can be released at balance stage (6 weeks prior to departure) without loss of deposit (increased from 15%).

Name Changes

You can advise us of the names of the people travelling up to one week before they fly. If you need to change the names of some passengers, this can be done free of charge, as long as the tickets have not been issued. You can still change names in your group after the tickets have been issued, at a charge of £55 per change.

Increased Flexibility

Bookings can be made nearly a year in advance of departure, and you can hold space for up to 2 months without commitment. British Airways are also offering increased flexibility for paying deposits on bookings, as follows:
